Simple Steps to Efficiently Log Your Trips in TRACKET

Navigating TRACKET for logging your trips can seem a bit complicated at first glance. But, once you get a hold of it, you'll find it incredibly helpful in tracking your engine and generator hours to schedule maintenance accurately.

Whether you're a first-time user or just need a refresher, follow these steps to ensure a seamless logging experience.

1.Click on 'Trip Log' on the dashboard or hit the green '+' button and select 'Trip'.

2. Click 'Log a Trip' in the middle of the screen or select 'Add' in the top right corner.

3. If you have more than one boat, choose the right one.
4. To record your engine hours at the start, pick 'Engine Start Hours' and then click 'Save'.

5. If your boat has a generator, select 'Generator Start Hours' to record its hours, then click 'Save'. This step is optional.
6. Press 'Start Trip' to begin the trip timer.

To finish your trip:

1. Go back to the dashboard and click 'Trip Log'.
2. If a trip is in progress, you'll see a red 'End Trip' button. Press it.

3. Confirm you want to end the trip.
4. You'll be asked to enter your final Engine and Generator hours, if you have a generator. This isn't done automatically to avoid errors with the timer and to make sure maintenance happens on time.
